District 9 Quarterly Business Meeting & Potluck
September 7 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm CDT
The next District 9 Business Meeting will be held on September 7, 2024, at the Wolf Street Center, 1015 S. Louisiana St., Little Rock, AR 72202. It will be held in the big room upstairs. Registration starts at 8:30 AM, and the business meeting starts at 9:00 AM.
The business meeting will begin with a workshop, which will be the District 9 inventory. An inventory is where we look at how well District 9 is doing and what areas we can improve on regarding our primary purpose, which is to carry the message of AA to the sick and suffering alcoholics. Rasa M. from District 8 will be our facilitator for the inventory.
In new business, ELECTIONS will be held for the District 9 Trusted Servant positions: DCM, Alternate DCM, Treasurer, Secretary, and Registrar. Elections will follow the Third Legacy Procedure, located in the A.A. Service Manual on pages 110-111 in the 2021-2023 edition (attached below). The term will be for 2 years, starting in January 2025. You are eligible to serve if you are a current serving GSR in District 9. I would highly recommend you stand up and be willing to serve!
